Welcome to Aquanauts Dive Shop
We are a family run PADI 5 Star Dive Center in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Our shop is located on the marina in the beautiful resort community of Puerto Aventuras, about 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen. Aquanauts has been providing ocean, cenote, and cave diving for over 17 years. We pride ourselves on maximizing your bottom time, not limiting your dive by a time schedule. We also offer a wide range of PADI training, starting with our introductory Discover SCUBA Diving, Open Water, Advanced Open water and specialty courses for experienced divers. We do this in a relaxed, comfortable, yet professional environment, with your safety being our #1 priority.
We offer daily ocean, cenote, cave dives and snorkel trips
Our ocean dives are scheduled for 9:00, 11:30, and 2:00. Cenote and cave dives leave the shop at 9:00. Night dives are scheduled as requested by our divers. We are bottom time oriented, with many of our dives lasting over an hour. Nitrox is available daily. We ask only that you stay within safe recreational diving limits and let us know when you reach 700 PSI to start your ascent.
Ocean reef snorkeling from our boat can be arranged through the shop. We are open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM until 5 PM.
Diver Training
If you are interested in trying SCUBA diving without having to spend the time required to receive a full certification, then our Discover SCUBA program is for you! Spend an afternoon with us, and we will provide you with the fundamentals of diving, a brief shallow water session to practice what you have learned, and you will finish up with a dive on one of our coral reefs.
We also offer a wide range of PADI courses including Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver as well as PADI e-learning opportunities.
